Amod/Jambusar:
In a positive development for commuters in Amod and Jambusar, new bus services have been launched connecting Amod to Botad and Jambusar to Dwarka. The initiative comes following efforts by MLA D.K. Swami.
A total of four new buses were flagged off from Amod and Jambusar ST depots in the presence of the MLA. The event witnessed the presence of local leaders, party workers, and officials from the State Transport department.
Residents had long demanded direct connectivity to religious destinations such as Dwarka and Sarangpur Hanuman Temple, as a large number of devotees frequently travel from this region. The new routes are expected to significantly benefit pilgrims as well as regular passengers.
MLA D.K. Swami stated that the proposal was submitted to the state government, which responded positively by allocating four buses for these routes. The move has brought a sense of satisfaction and relief among local residents.
The introduction of these services will enhance connectivity, ensure safer travel, and strengthen public transport facilities in the region.
