In a major relief for residents of Amod, a long-standing issue of underground drainage blockage is set to be addressed with the introduction of modern technology. Following the efforts of MLA D.K. Swami, advanced jetting-cum-suction and desilting machines have been allocated to Amod Municipality by GUDC, Gandhinagar.
The machines were inaugurated in the presence of the MLA. These high-tech systems are capable of removing sludge, debris, and blockages from drainage lines using high-pressure mechanisms, ensuring efficient and deep cleaning.
MLA D.K. Swami stated that providing basic civic amenities remains a top priority, and these machines will play a key role in resolving drainage issues and maintaining cleanliness in the city. The move is also expected to help prevent mosquito-borne diseases and improve public health.
With the deployment of these machines, complaints related to drainage blockage can now be addressed quickly, enhancing the overall efficiency of the municipal system.
