At the 52nd Youth Festival organized by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU), Valsad, Dev R. Shukla, a student of Narmada College of Science and Commerce, achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the first prize in Classical Vocal Singing, bringing pride to his college and district.
The festival witnessed participation from talented students representing various colleges across South Gujarat. Amid tough competition, Dev Shukla impressed the judges with his command over classical vocals, rhythm, and confident stage presence, securing the top position at the South Gujarat level.
Dev R. Shukla is a dedicated disciple of renowned classical music guru Shri Suketu Thakor. His success is credited to rigorous training, disciplined practice, and the expert guidance of his guru. With this achievement, the contribution of Shri Suketu Thakor to nurturing classical music talent has also gained wide recognition across the region.
