Family demands independent counselling of woman and action against those allegedly involved in preparing the disputed certificate

The family of a woman, whose alleged disappearance with a man identified as Faizal Diwan has become a matter of concern in Jambusar, has approached the police seeking strict legal action in the case.
The family has demanded that additional legal provisions be invoked against the accused and that individuals allegedly involved in preparing or facilitating a fake marriage certificate also be made accused in the case.
According to the family, a marriage certificate was allegedly submitted to the Jambusar police by Firoz Diwan, the maternal uncle of Faizal Diwan. After being advised to verify the authenticity of the document, the family approached the marriage registration office at Kuber Bhavan in Vadodara.
The family claims that the marriage registration authority subsequently provided a written response stating that no such marriage registration was found in its records.
Demand to Include Others in Investigation
The family has stated that Jambusar Police have registered a case against Faizal Diwan in connection with the alleged preparation of a fake marriage certificate.
However, the family is also seeking action against Firoz Diwan, who allegedly submitted the certificate to the police, along with anyone who may have assisted in preparing the document or allegedly used fake signatures and seals.
The family has requested that provisions including Sections 338, 61, 3(5), 319, 344 and 204 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) be added against the accused, subject to the findings of the police investigation.
Family Seeks Independent Counselling of Woman
The family has also requested the police to present the woman before her family and arrange for independent counselling.
Family members stated that if counselling establishes that the woman left voluntarily, without any fear, threat or pressure, they would have no objection. Their primary demand, they said, is that she be safely located and given an opportunity to communicate her wishes independently.

The woman’s mother also claimed that the incident becoming public has affected the family’s income. According to her, around 50 students previously attended her tuition classes, but the number has reportedly dropped to around 10 following the controversy.
She further stated that her son is currently studying in the third year of an MBBS course at a private university. With the alleged decline in family income, she said the family is now worried about how they will manage his education expenses.
The family has reiterated that it is making continuous efforts to contact the woman and has urged the police to ensure that she is located safely and presented before the family, while allowing her to express her wishes freely.
The allegations regarding the marriage certificate, the involvement of other individuals and the circumstances surrounding the woman’s disappearance are claims made by the family. The matter remains subject to police investigation and verification of the documents and other evidence.
