Bharuch BJP Women Celebrate Raksha Bandhan with District President Prakash Modi

Over 80 women from the party organisation and elected wing gather at BJP district president’s residence to tie Raksha Sutra

Bharuch:
A special Raksha Bandhan celebration was organised at the residence of Bharuch District BJP President Prakash Modi on the occasion of the festival symbolising the sacred bond between brothers and sisters.

More than 80 women associated with the Bharuch district BJP organisation and its elected wing, including women office-bearers, functionaries and party workers, participated in the celebration with enthusiasm.

The women performed the traditional rituals by applying kumkum tilak, performing an aarti and offering sweets before tying the sacred Rakhi, symbolising protection and affection, to District President Prakash Modi.

On the occasion, the women extended their best wishes for the organisational growth of the BJP family in Bharuch district and prayed for the president’s long and healthy life.

Women Leaders Also Tie Rakhi to Bina Modi

The celebration also reflected a strong sense of family and togetherness. BJP women leaders and workers tied Rakhi to Binaben Modi, wife of District BJP President Prakash Modi, as a gesture of affection and respect.

The atmosphere at the residence was filled with the spirit of brother-sister affection and the traditions of Indian culture.

‘The Raksha Sutra is Extremely Precious to Me’

Speaking on the occasion, District BJP President Prakash Modi said that the Raksha Sutra received from the women of the Bharuch BJP family was extremely precious to him.

He expressed his commitment towards the safety, dignity and welfare of women, as well as continued efforts for the overall development and public welfare of Bharuch district.

He also expressed gratitude to all the women and extended his advance greetings to the people of Bharuch district on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

A Special Celebration for Bharuch BJP

The Raksha Bandhan celebration was described as a memorable occasion for the Bharuch BJP organisation. Women from the district organisation and elected wing participated in the event and tied Rakhis to the district president.

Prakash Modi and his wife also presented gifts to the participating women and hosted them for a meal, adding a personal and warm touch to the celebration.
