Jambusar: Fear continues to grip Dabha village in Jambusar taluka following repeated sightings and attacks by a leopard on livestock. In the latest incident, a leopard reportedly entered a cattle shed and killed a calf, intensifying concerns among farmers and livestock owners.
According to information, the leopard attacked and killed a calf tied inside the cattle shed of Mustaqbhai Multani, a resident of Dabha village. The incident created panic in the area, with villagers expressing concern over the repeated movement of the wild animal near residential and livestock areas.
Earlier Attacks Also Reported
Locals said that a similar incident had occurred earlier when a leopard reportedly attacked and killed four to five goats kept in the cattle shed of Tosifbhai. The repeated attacks have increased anxiety among farmers and livestock owners who depend on their animals for their livelihood.
Evidence of Leopard Movement in the Area
Reports of leopard movement have emerged from Dabha and surrounding villages on earlier occasions as well. The repeated incidents have particularly raised concerns among villagers who remain cautious during the night while attending to their cattle and livestock.
