Jambusar:
Discussions have intensified within local political circles in Jambusar following the recent organizational restructuring within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Reports suggest that some senior party workers have expressed dissatisfaction regarding the new appointments and the age criteria set for various organizational posts.

According to party sources, the newly framed structure reportedly sets an age limit of below 45 years for Taluka and City Presidents, while district-level positions including district president, general secretary, and posts in local bodies such as district panchayat and municipalities are restricted to individuals below 60 years of age. This decision has sparked debate among some long-serving party workers.

Several senior leaders have indicated that dedicated party workers who have contributed significantly over the years to strengthen the organization feel that their experience is not being given adequate importance. Some of them recalled that there was a time when Bharuch district was considered a stronghold of the Congress party, and it was through sustained efforts of grassroots BJP workers that the party’s ideology gained ground in the region.

Party veterans argue that the BJP’s current strength and political success have been built through the hard work and commitment of countless workers over the years. Therefore, they believe that the experience and guidance of senior leaders should continue to have a place within the organization.

Political observers in the region also point out that the BJP’s strong performance in the recent Assembly elections was supported by the efforts of many senior leaders and grassroots workers. As a result, some voices within the party are calling for greater recognition of experienced leaders within the organizational structure.

At the same time, several party members have welcomed the newly appointed leadership, expressing confidence that the new team will further strengthen the organization and continue to promote the party’s ideology under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

For now, discussions regarding the restructuring continue within party circles, reflecting a mix of opinions and perspectives among local leaders and workers.
