A significant initiative aimed at empowering women and promoting self-employment was witnessed in Amod, where Bachchoka Ghar Amod, through its Mehfuza Z. Hakim Sewing and Mehndi Training Centre, organized a grand certificate distribution ceremony in an enthusiastic and dignified atmosphere.
The program began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a warm felicitation of the successful trainees through flower showers. On this occasion, 88 women were awarded certificates for sewing training, while 23 trainees received certificates for mehndi training. The confidence and satisfaction on the faces of the women reflected their journey towards self-reliance.
Addressing the gathering, Bachchoka Ghar’s head, Mr. Basir Rana, stated that the core objective of the institution is to make women economically independent through skill-based education. He further added that more such vocational training programs would be launched in the future.
Municipality President Ms. Jalpaben Patel, who attended the event as the chief guest, appreciated the initiative and said that empowering women through skill development aligns with the government’s Skill India Mission, and Bachchoka Ghar Amod is playing a commendable role in this direction.
Presiding over the event, Ms. Mumtazben from the UK motivated the trainees by stating that when a woman progresses, the entire family and society progress with her. She encouraged the women to trust their skills and remain committed to hard work.
The ceremony was attended by Secretary Ibrahimbhai Patel, Maulana Isub Bharkodra, Maulana Saeed Devla Saheb, along with social leaders, staff members, and a large number of women participants. The event concluded on a joyful note with refreshments served to all attendees.
