ONGC Distributes Educational Kits Worth ₹12 Lakh to 365 Students; Sarpanch Sabbir Alam Honoured
A vibrant School Enrollment Festival and Kanya Kelavani Mahotsav was celebrated at the primary school in Dabha village of Jambusar taluka, marking the beginning of the new academic year with enthusiasm and community participation.
The event witnessed the presence of Vedach Police Inspector Mahesh Dhodiya as the Chief Guest, while Bharuch District Panchayat Whip Maheshbhai Rathod attended as a special guest. Around 50 children admitted to Balvatika and Standard-1 were warmly welcomed with traditional tilak, flower showers, and educational materials.
During the program, parents were guided on the importance of education, and dignitaries encouraged students to pursue learning with dedication and strive for a bright future.
The highlight of the event was the distribution of educational kits worth approximately ₹12 lakh to 365 students with the support of ONGC Vadodara. The kits included school bags, lunch boxes, water bottles, compass boxes, colour kits, and other essential learning materials. Organizers expressed confidence that the initiative would boost students’ interest in education and support their academic journey.
On the occasion, Dabha village Sarpanch Sabbir Alam was honoured with a certificate of appreciation by the school management for his contribution to education, village development, and continuous support to the school.
The event was attended by Bharuch District Panchayat Whip Maheshbhai Rathod, PI Mahesh Dhodiya, Hardeepsinh, officials from the Jambusar Education Department, Sarpanch Sabbir Alam, School Management Committee members, teachers, parents, and a large number of villagers.
The school administration concluded the program by expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, donors, and parents who contributed to the success of the event.
