Students Spread the Message of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’, Patriotism and Cleanliness
Jambusar: As part of the celebrations for India’s 80th Independence Day, Janata Kelavani Mandal-run J.M. Shah Arts and Commerce College, Jambusar, organised a grand Tiranga Yatra and ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ awareness programme on Tuesday.
The Tiranga Yatra began from the college campus and passed through various parts of Jambusar town. A large number of students, along with teaching and non-teaching staff members, participated enthusiastically in the march.
Carrying the national flag and raising patriotic slogans, the students created an atmosphere filled with national pride and enthusiasm across the town.
During the Yatra, students displayed banners carrying messages related to ‘Swachh Bharat – Swasth Bharat’, patriotism, national unity and civic responsibility. Through the initiative, the students aimed to spread awareness among citizens about cleanliness, social responsibility and the importance of maintaining national unity.
College Principal Dr. Kishor Prajapati also participated in the Tiranga Yatra and encouraged the faculty, staff and students. He emphasised the importance of patriotism, national unity and citizens’ responsibility towards keeping the surroundings clean and contributing to society.
The entire Yatra witnessed a disciplined and enthusiastic atmosphere. Through the initiative, the college community highlighted the spirit of ‘Nation First’ and gave a meaningful dimension to the Independence Day celebrations by combining patriotism with messages of cleanliness, civic awareness and social responsibility.
